The Mirror of the World and Botanical Garden is in Barangay Libjo, Sikatuna, Bohol and owned by Jan Yngvar Kolstø and Ann Dulogan Kolstø. Their hope in creating this incredible park and garden is to share their experiences of traveling the world to other visitors. A big bonus of this place is that it’s pet-friendly, so you can bring your beloved dogs along with you as long as you comply with the park’s rules. After walking around, you can then enjoy delicious and affordable refreshments at Café Acropolis. No need to renew a passport to enjoy all these amazing sights! Prices vary greatly. I have personally hired these tourist vans for 2,000 pesos per day, but around 4,000 pesos per day is closer to the normal rate. Obviously, the more people you bring, the better the value. Organised Tour TAG-MNL – Daily flights (PR2778) with a travel time of 1.20 hours. Flights depart at 4:05PM and arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 5:25PM.

Lastly, Phase 4 will present Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, London’s Big Ben, and the Petronas Twin Towers of Malaysia. Definitely bring some comfortable shoes. Whilst you don’t need to cover a lot of distance, there are quite a lot of stairs to climb. For the safety of the visitors and park staff, COVID-19 protocols are strictly followed. Visitors should wear their masks at all times. How to get to Sikatuna, Bohol The usual transportation for Tagbilaran is tricycle, where paying passengers can travel across town for around 50 pesos. The Sikatuna Mirror of the World opens at 7 am and closes at 9 pm. The park takes on a different character at night when the light show cranks up. The Mirror of the World and Botanical Garden is owned by Jan Yngvar Kolstø and Ann Dulogan Kolstø. The couple built the Park to share their experiences and trips from abroad with the Filipinos and promote tourism in Sikatuna by bringing a new tourist destination to Bohol. As of 2019 the access road was in the process of being concrete d and was still 50% unpaved. That is to say, it’s still under construction. Relax, it’s easily accessible by family sedan style motor vehicles during normal weather. During monsoon rain, you would need to be careful on the narrow access road. Cost of Sikatuna Mirror of the World Motorcycles are cheap, local hotels and apartments usually hire them out for around 200 pesos per day. This is a great option in the warm tropical climate and one which makes it easy to add more Bohol activities of your choice. Mirror of the World and Botanical Garden exhibits scaled-down versions of world-famous landmarks. Visitors can explore Phase 1, beginning with Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Golden Gate Bridge of California, the Merlion in Singapore, and the Statue of Liberty in New York. Replicas of Christ the Redeemer, Hollywood, and the Golden Gate The Mirror of the World Sikatuna BoholMNL-TAG – Daily flights (PR2777) with a travel time of 1.20 hours. Flights depart at 2:05PM and arrive at the Bohol–Panglao International Airport at 3:25PM. The light show is actually nothing fancy, but the main attractions of Christ the Redeemer, Singapore Merlion and Statue of Liberty do change color from white to red to blue. The biggest attraction at night may actually be escaping the oppressive daytime heat. Personally, I would prefer to visit at night for this reason. Dining Out at Mirror of the World A tourist van with a driver is another popular form of transport in Bohol. It is not difficult to hire an 8-10 seater van complete with driver. This is a great way to go because they can drive you all over the island and take you to a variety of Bohol attractions. Or they can suggest an itinerary to you.
